Hi all, just installed 11.2 on my new laptop. I noticed that nscd is creating an immense logfile - something like a kB/s. Now I have several questions: - is this normal? - on startup it tells me 13:03:43.02421 nscd v0.45, debug level 0xf ah, being verbose!? Tried debug-level 0 in /etc/nscd.conf, but that doesn't work - it still reports 0xf and produces tons of output :-(( - apart from that the logfiles show(*) that some process is requesting my /etc/passwd entry every few seconds - is that normal? Any idea how I could find out what that is, and why? (*)at least as I interpret this...
