Well I used OO only yesterday and found no problems. But then I may not use it for the same reasons that you do. I did look at a Windows generated pps file which worked OK for me. What do you use OO for which may cause you problems with the version of java?
The wizzards.
Aha! Another Harry Potter fan :-) .
Not really. :-)
Well, there's your problem right there. You're simply living within the Muggles world and don't reach out to the magical world of KDE4 and 11.2.......
Don't know "wizzards" so have never used it.
There are a few things in OOo that need java, I don't know exactly which. Sometimes, after some packages updates, something in OOo stops working, and when I look, there is no java defined in the OOo config.
Hmmm, interesting. I do remember one of the (Windows) pps files she often gets from her cousin in Italy wouldn't play for us - but I think I eventually got it to 'play' (but how? - dunno :-( ) BC -- I work to live not live to work. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
