Since openSUSE doesn't have millionaire cosmonauts behind it, maybe we could set up a 'Users ship openSUSE to users' network where those of us to whom burning a DVD and slapping it in the mail is no big deal can make a difference to those who live out of reach of DSL and magazine coverdisks?
We'd just need a simple broker program that matches up requesters to nearby senders...
I'd be totally down for this. In fact, I have two new jobs coming up and wouldn't mind occasionally paying the postage required to send overseas. In fact, the US Postal Service gives discount postage when you're sending media, such as books or electronic media like CDs and DVDs. You know, I wonder if that would work with Betamax tapes. :D -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
