Hello,
Hope some can help.
I was running OSS 11.1 32 bit with KDE 4.1.3 -> 4.2.0 -> 4.2.1. I inadvertantly ran zypper up to try to get libqt4.5 to install a wifi plasmoid. Now I have install kde 4.2.67 and my laptop will only
boot
into a black screen. Network doesn't work. How, other than
reinstalling
from DVD and going through upate from KDE 4.1.3 -> 4.2.0 ->
4.2.1, do I
get my kde 4.2.1 back and the desktop back?
Any help appreciated.
Yes.....remove the following files, and then you can setup your
desktop
again. At least you can logon again and have a desktop again.

Probably delete that one, and then add a new launcher. Click on the bar far right, then add widgets....there you'll find a new launcher. You'll have to move it to the far left on the bar. Click on bar (far right) again, and then move cursor on the bar till you're "on" the icon you want to move....left click on it till you have it in it's new place. Move the cursor straight up off the bar and it's set.
