More, several "empty" icons is showed in the panel on start.
Some suggestion?
The easiest was is: opens a konsole and as user do:
kquitapp plasma rm ~/.kde/share/config/plasma* plasma
This will delete! all your plasma configs and give you the default look, which you can then adjust.
I have done this. But next time I log out/in, the empty icons are back. Luckily, it seems the icons I want are now also there. I am guessing each time there is a kde4 update, one should (1) update kde (2) log out / in (3) do the kquitapp thing, (4) set up the panel again. Until they sort out whatever it is in the config files that are confusing things all the time.
Roger, For your info, I had the same problem, did exactly what you did, and remain exactly as you are now. If you find the answer please report it on the list. I will do likewise.
