Shouldn't that be only level 5? X is not used in level 3.
Not sure, you may be right. I thought that the server wouldn't have to be running level 5 in order to support remote management via NX. So let's say you're right, I'm happy with level 5 only - how do I make this autostart on machine startup ?
Do you have the init script for that in service in /etc/initd/? If not make one for it, use /etc/init.d/skeleton as an example (read the comment carefully within the file, you will understand how it works) After that invoke it with "insserv /etc/init.d/your-init-script-file" as root (you should running this command to register the service) You can check the run level through yast-system-sytem services after you run insserv (well, also with chkconfig) HTH regards, medwinz -- Henny Youngman - "If at first you don't succeed... so much for skydiving." -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
