Trying to play an avi file I just downloaded, I get the info that although xine finds a demux for avi it cannot process this avi file. Are there different kinds of avi files?
I have found that the only video types I cannot play in Linux are the DRMed ones. As long as you have the w32codecs installed, you should be able to play any and all formats... even more than your average Windows user can play. So... make sure you've grabbed the latest w32codec rpm from the Packman repository... and try again.
