Hi Clayton, while the linked article could be regarded relatively balanced (though it contains factual errors - e.g. there's no connection between go-oo & odfconverter, apart from the fact that Novell also distributes the latter; and one could also argue whether Novell's relation to MS is significantly closer than Sun's), the cited statement from Simon (taken from a Novell-bashing site) is clearly not. I'm an OOo hacker, sponsored by Novell, earlier by Sun; and do have the insight to tell you that most of what Simon says is way off base. BTW, when you post biased statements like that, I'd consider it good style when you revealed your affiliation...
