be advised that openSUSE is an rpm based system and your install has bypassed the rpn database and other installs with overlapping dependencies may have problems and/or your system may become corrupt due to this. Consider the use of "checkinstall" as a replacement for "make install". This app will generate an rpm package and keep the system true. It also provides a much easier uninstall provision if needed.
thankyou for the information/procedure.
Great advice, thanks. I was indeed aware/worried about this but do not have the skills of a linux geek. I'm a simple humble user who get's scared by install procedures like the one I gave earlier ;-) Looking forward to see that 1-Click install for SVN 1.5.4 hopefully soon. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
