What should I use to shrink an HPFS/NTFS partition of Windows Vista to make room for openSUSE 11.0 (and keep the computer dualboot)?
first Vista itself (config panel, managing computer, disks, right clic on the disk)
(There is also a recovery partition (from Windows) which the openSUSE installer seems to list as an "unknown" first partition as /dev/sda1 or so.)
burn a dvd and use the partition for an other thing (I used it to 11)
- openSUSE 11.0 installer
worked gracefully for me, allowing me to reclaim 15Gb more from vista than vista didn't want to leave :-)) jdd -- Jean-Daniel Dodin Président du CULTe www.culte.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
