Does anyone know what this means? I normally have compiz installed and active, but I only get a few effects. The cube and stuff. Wobbly windows and stuff never works. If I run compiz-manager once, I get: peter@linux:~> compiz-manager Checking for Xgl: present. Checking for nVidia: not present. Checking for Xgl: present. Enabling Xgl with nVidia drivers... Enabling Xgl with fglrx ATi drivers... * Detected Session: kde /usr/bin/compiz (core) - Error: Screen 0 on display ":0.0" already has a window manager; try using the --replace option to replace the current window manager. /usr/bin/compiz (core) - Fatal: No manageable screens found on display :0.0 * Searching for installed applications... I have no title bars, for instance. peter@linux:~> compiz-manager Checking for Xgl: present. Checking for nVidia: not present. Checking for Xgl: present. Enabling Xgl with nVidia drivers... I also have all the fancy wobbly windows effects. The lot, including the compiz icon in the system tray - which I've never seen before. ^C peter@linux:~> I now have no window decorations and am unable to interact with the KDE. The only option is [Alt][Ctrl][Bksp]. When I log back in, I'm back to the default state of some effects but not the works. I confess to being a naive user, so I may be bringing this upon myself. openSUSE 10.3 on AMD64 dual core Radeon X1300/X1550 card with flgrx kernel driver.
