Hi list,
no offense, it looks great - but I'll wait a little...
Someone set up a SuSE11 with KDE4 on, I need KDE3,5 standard instead. I installed (Using YaST) KDE35, but when loggin in I still get the -4 desktop. Where do I kill (for all users and for good to avoid problems to come) this 4?
I tried to remove it from within YaST, but I don't know how to handle the smiley...
Hi Verner You should be able to install KDE 3.x beside 4.x using the standard Software Management icon in Yast. You then choose on the login screen which session type you want. If you want to remove KDE 4 totally, You can probably _most_ of it through the same software management process, but you may need to leave spme support files on the system if you don't want to spend a long time resolving dependencies.
