Hi,
Sometimes my provider relay has an hiccup and refuses my email:
Feb 25 20:48:33 nimrodel postfix/smtp[19370]: 4341DB7596: to=
, relay=smtp.telefonica.net[213.4.149.228]:25, delay=14, delays=0.1/0. 28/14/0, dsn=5.0.0, status=bounced (SASL authentication failed; server smtp.telefonica.net[213.4.149.228] said: 535 invalid user ID or password) I want postfix to ignore the error and retry many times. Is it possible?
A 5xx is a permanent error, so: no, Postfix does not ignore this and will not try again. Theo -- Theo v.
