So NCL seems not to have been the problem?
I don't think NCL was the problem, i believe it to be compiz
I have this (which should be up-to-date as of this morning):
compizconfig-settings-manager-0.6.9_git071204-4.4 compiz-manager-0.0.1_git080201-1.10 libcompizconfig-0.6.9_git080208-1.6 compiz-kde-0.7.0-5.8 compiz-emerald-themes-0.6.0-1.1 libcompizconfig-backend-gconf-0.6.9_git071204-1.11 python-compizconfig-0.6.9_git080208-1.5 compiz-fusion-kde-0.6.2-3.42 compiz-emerald-0.6.9_git080208-1.6 libcompizconfig-backend-kconfig-0.6.9_git080208-1.4 compiz-fusion-plugins-extra-0.5.2_git070824-22 compiz-fusion-plugins-unsupported-0.6.9_git080208-1.5 compiz-fusion-plugins-main-0.6.9_git080208-1.6 compiz-0.7.0-5.8 fusion-icon-0.0.1_080201-2.11
I have checked mine with what you provided here and some, i do not have installed: libcompizconfig-backend-gconf-0.6.9_git071204-1.11 libcompizconfig-backend-kconfig-0.6.9_git080208-1.4
If mine is up-to-date, why do you have newer things for some things. like your compiz-fusion-plugins-extra is newer, while your compiz is older? My repositories are:
/repositories/X11:/XGL/openSUSE_10.3/ /repositories/X11:/XGL/SUSE_Factory/
I have /repositories/X11:/XGL/openSUSE_10 but not /repositories/X11:/XGL/SUSE_Factory/
Do you have some place else?
Not that i know of?
Or maybe mine is odd? But I have no trouble other than the continual reappearance of libIndirectGL. But that is minor in that I know how to deal with it.
and when i go into yast->software i get a conflict between the main and extras plugins. You said you were about to get this to work?
I don't remember saying i was about to get to work, just that i can not get it to work
What is you compiz setup?
How would i tell what the compiz setup is?
I also get that conflict. So I do not install the extras. Which is probably why mine is older than yours if you select to install it anyway. More odd is that your compiz is older. Maybe you should be sure you have the same repositories that I have. I think all the compiz stuff is in these two.
I will add the factory repo and update compiz and see what happens -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
