I didn't find ws awkward. I easily learned its keyboard and found it quite easy and fast. Actually, I found wordperfect awkward. Very good results, but difficult and slow keyboard interface. And similar with the successors: amipro, word, openoffice... ws could be managed fast without a mouse.
So successful was it that it is still used, for example, by Borland IDE and others.
And it just like a wordperfect user looks at "any other wp", I have mastered and am comfortable with ws keystrokes. There appears nothing easily learned that is worth the effort to change. I use a 'text editor' and have no use for pertty-fying text even though there are ws keystrokes to do so. I concider myself possessing sufficient ability to convey my meaning w/o special display of the words I type :^), excepting a smiley or two. And believe that others (whose natural language is english) should do the same. Those whose native language is not english do their best to convey their meaning and it is on me to understand or pose questions achieving that understanding. -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
