Go on template->manage, right click on the one you created and set it as your default. Should do the trick.
Thank you. I could set my template as default, and finally my template to use A4 for printing.
Mine is A4 by default, but I don't remember if/how I set it that way. Perhaps it is the default for my country, perhaps it takes the size from the printer default.
But, I guess, this solution will work only for new documents based on this new template. Will all my older documents based on the old template still use 'letter' for printing? It's very stupid if it works like that.
In Tools/Options, OOo, Print: printer warnings, mark on "paper size". Set your printer for a default of A4 (in cups), and if the document doesn't match, you will see a warning when you print that will allow you to go back and change the size. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
