OK, thanks for your update. The reason I was asking is that in YAST there seems to be quite a few KDE4 files/apps loaded from GUI/KDE. Are these needed in KDE3 ? Could these be the source of some of the instabilities that some of us are seeing with the PC locking up so tight that the only way out of it is to reset ?
What lockups are you getting? If they are caused by "Compiz" I would recommend installing KDE 3.5.8 from the Build Service which eliminates some of the issues I had when running KDE with Compiz. On another note, can one of the KDE Designers unveil if 11.0 will be KDE by default (as 10.3 was), and will the next version of SLED be KDE instead of Gnome by default? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
