Since the 64 bit browsers can't use the 32 bit Java plugin, I decided to install the 32 bit versions of Seamonkey and Firefox. However, even though I downloaded the i586 packages, when I installed them, the 64 bit versions were apparently downloaded and installed. Is there any way to force installation of 32 bit packages? Do I have to use the packages from Mozilla, rather than from openSUSE?
No, that worked for me. I did it using YaST choosing the 32bit version in the Versions tab and chose to reinstall the package then. That replaced the 64bit version with the 32bit one. Don't forget to do that with your Java distribution as well. Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
