I use GNOME as well... as I said most people like the 10.3's fonts... so I have no idea what it is... but they defiantly look awkward on my system. Perhaps someone could upload their desktop somewhere (like Flickr or something) and provide a link so we could see how these fonts are coming out? On Tue, 2007-10-09 at 23:14 -0400, darko g wrote:

I still can;t work with 10.3 since I have to work at my PC for extended lengths, those fonts give me a headache.

Hello everyone!
I wanted to ask this question real quick: My fonts on openSUSE 10.3 (out of the box) look very strange and ugly compared to my fonts out of the box on 10.2. I have no idea why, and I really can't stand them. I'm using 10.2 right now, and will until I can fix this problem.
Here are links to Flickr photos of each desktop, and the Font Settings windows: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1099/1478698977_ca610eee17_o.png That is my 10.3 desktop http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1003/1478698989_1dbde9d834_o.png That is my 10.2 desktop
If you guys need any more info from me, I'll be more than happy to share it.
I like the 10.3 fonts better. Am I weird?

maybe it's just my own setup, but the fonts, graphics & overall display are much clearer and faster since i upgraded to 10.3. (note: i use gnome -- so maybe it's just the new gnome.)
