I've notice that the Novell/SUSE version of OpenOffice doesn't have the dictionary wizard, that's included with other versions. Why is that?
We did not want to dupplicate the functionality. We currently provide
75 RPM packages with myspell dictionaries. They are installed to the system, so they are shared between all users and other applications.
What dictionary are you missing?
Since you are asking... I noticed that of all the 6 dictionaries I used to have to download and save in /usr/share/myspell/ and link to /usr/lib/ooo-2.0/share/dict/ooo/ I am now down one only I am still missing: Canadian English, i.e. en_CA.aff and en_CA.dic Interestingly, hyph_en_CA.dic is already present in /usr/lib/ooo-2.0/share/dict/ooo/, but I wish there was also a thesaurus for it or that I could use the US English thesaurus instead. -- Carlos FL Who is General Failure, and why is he reading my disk? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
