Well likely on 10.2 too, but it will deinstall most of YAST and everything package management related.
And in 10.1 it worked w/o uninstalling parts of Yast2. I just forced libzypp on 10.2 to uninstall w/o touching Yast2. After that Yast2 packet manager stopped to work. I don't want to use libzypp what then shall I do? Switch to the crappy smart, maybe to the not maintained apt or just switch the distro?
And the packagemanagement has become better with 10.2, including that there is now zypper.
Sure it has. It's now more stable w in 10.2. But by all means why do you force users to use libzypp and not make them choose whether they want the new or the old packet manager? That's would be fair in my opinion. Thx Jan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
