So, is hwinfo or lshal lying on my system (or both), or is Plextor lying ? Model: "PLEXTOR DVDR PX-740A" hwinfo: Features: CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, DVD-R lshal: storage.cdrom.dvdplusrdl = true (bool) storage.cdrom.dvdplusrw = true (bool) storage.cdrom.dvdplusr = true (bool) storage.cdrom.dvdram = false (bool) storage.cdrom.dvdrw = false (bool) storage.cdrom.dvdr = true (bool) storage.cdrom.dvd = true (bool) According to the retail box, and website (http://www.plextor.be/products/px-740a.asp?choice=PX-740A) the features of the drive is: DVD+R, DVD-R, DL DVD+R, DL DVD-R, CD-R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW, CD-RW None of the commands shows the complete feature set (as layed out by plextor), and lshal actually says it does not do dvdrw ?
