Hi, Just after DVD installation, I switched to internet repositories. Then I added Packman repositories. Say I want to install aMule (from packman). One problem is the time spent before installation is complete. When launching the software installation tool, it builds a kind of installable software list. Ok. But it seems (as I see the time spent) to build it EACH time I launch it! Wouldn't it be faster to cache the list somewhere? Then when search for the package to install, it is very slow again. I have a decent CPU (2GHz, Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM) architecture, I think something really need to be donne on this thing. Don't you think? Or is it a my-side problem? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
