mutt is a dog. :^)
I'll have to look at this... BUT one problem I see is that I don't have a real isp. I have to use gmail as the smtp because my internet access is through cingular's EDGE/GSM network and afaik there is no smtp just the actual connection.
You mean that cingular does *not* provide you with email accounts? I find that hard to believe. http://www.cingular.com/sbusiness/network Supporting Bandwidth-Intensive Applications Combining high speed with low latency, BroadbandConnect offers mobile access to a broad range of business applications, including personal and business email, ....
When I get the time maybe I'll set up an exim/sendmail box or something.. Of course it's not worht it until I get the stupid card to work on the desktop....
You do not need exim or sendmail. Your SUSE install has postfix as a default and it works quite well. Also fetchmail to download mail to your local machine. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2
