mutt is a dog. :^) I'll have to look at this... BUT one problem I see is that I don't have a real isp. I have to use gmail as the smtp because my internet access is through cingular's EDGE/GSM network and afaik there is no smtp just the actual connection.
You mean that cingular does *not* provide you with email accounts? I find that hard to believe.

When I get the time maybe I'll set up an exim/sendmail box or something.. Of course it's not worht it until I get the stupid card to work on the desktop....
You do not need exim or sendmail. Your SUSE install has postfix as a default and it works quite well. Also fetchmail to download mail to your local machine. ::Banging head against wall:: As soon as I hit send I did a google search and found a cingular smtp.. As far as email accounts I'll have to look into it. I was told that that was only for business accounts (higher price) but if I get this back I'll be happy...
