you could have:
opened a chat session with your choice of client, logged onto the subject channel
left your computer for x days
returned and read the transcript from your chat client's logs
only relied on your own actions
The information provided which you berated was definitely valid.
Come on, this is nonsense. I could have used telepathy as well, that's almost as practical as your proposal. I don't understand why some people on this mailing list come up with completely theoretical and unpractical proposals all the time. Blimey! Where is the problem for somebody who attended the meeting to put a short summary or the transcript online? This is a simple thing and that's all I have asked for. And it has happened thanks to Stephan. There is no need to discuss the question and there is no need to make silly comments, that's just unnecessary noise. At the end of the day, most things depend only on "your own actions". If somebody asks for a kernel feature, your answer would most likely also be "well, write your own kernel, it relies only on your own actions". Stupid posting, really... Hence, EOT please.
