-bash: enable: DJ895: not a shell builtin
Then your next step would/should be to find why 'enable' did not work. First hint was 'not a shell builtin'. Next step 'man enable' humm seems enable *is* a shell builtin guess then that 'DJ895' is not a builtin then 'enable DJ895' won't work. BUT, 'locate enable | grep bin' yealds: /usr/bin/enable solution: to execute /usr/bin/enable instead of the shell builtin the full path is required, ie: /usr/bin/enable DJ895 -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2
