I'm actually not using Firefox / Thunderbird; I'm using Mozilla. A while back, I had an incident... When running chkrootkit, it claimd to have found the LKM Trojan and "one hidden process." I did a complete reinstall because I just wasn't sure that this could be corrected reliably since apparently it was a rootkit. Of course, it could have been a false positive or some sort of system hiccup, but, I don't thnk so. The reason I ran chkrootkit was because my system suddenly became slow and BDC didn't find anything. I don't knpw what I could have done to expose myself... I'm even behind a hardware firewall (AlphaShield). Now I'm super paranoid. John Meyer wrote:

Is there a way to configure Antivir to scan incoming and outgoing email for Mozilla Mail on SuSE 10.0 Boxed Ed? I've tried using KMail with Konqueror but, there seems to be an integration issue. When I try to send a li nk from Konqueror, it claims I haven't set an Identity even though when I check, my identity is already set. I don't run into this issue when sending from KMail directly, only when sending a file from Konqueror. Besides, I'm more comfortible with the Mozilla Suite. I did Google this topic and I wasn't able to find what I need.
There are virii on Firefox for Linux?
