I do so little in DOS & Windows that I created a batch file ls.bat to get around forgetting. BTW I think we have a similar alias called dir.
I don't guess I understand your point. The reference to ls and dir was only to show case sensitivity, not that the commands were similar. The statement about a "similar alias" is also not understood.
