This morning I got following information from my computer. I think I understand the info and I know why the pop-qmail does not get authorization. I get my email via Kmail for the moment so it does not matter for the moment. I decided to stop fetchmail and gave the command which I found in the man pages. The resulting answer I do not understand. Is fetchmail stopped now or what? "no other fetchmail is running" as a result does not say so explicitely.
it means that the fetchmail daemon is not running and there is no current command line instance. It does not tell you that no cron job is pending. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2
