Hi Maura, <quote who="Maura Edelweiss Monville">
I installed mtink-1.0.1-1.i586.rpm on a 32-bit Desktop PC running SuSE 9.1 I would like to install MTink on my laptop as well. But my laptop is 64-bit architecture and runs SuSe 9.3 Will the same MTink version be OK ?
dont know... just try :-)
When I install the rpm file: # rpm -Uvh <filename> Should I be root or can I be a regular user ?
you must be root or use the sudo command (your SysAdmin must grant you access to the rpm command) HTH, Martin
