Oh, you're really not paying attention, are you?
By that I was alluding to the whole "Novell's dropping KDE" brouhaha.
oh, I read it all, I didn't think that is what you were referring to. that thread is why I tried gnome. Failed, so I will bail if Novell drops KDE support. I just didn't chime in with a "me to" list mail.
Look at what xmms-kde actually is:

In fact, after reading Lee's mail, I did install that package. But still no MP3 play from xmms (nor would I expect that package to make a diffference, but sometimes unexpected interactions occur).
no luck here either.
I'll never use Gnome. I'd rather fight than switch, if you catch my drift...
I tried it, and went back to KDE. looks like a 3 foot snow drift to me:)
Interesting. I don't know what that means...
if yo catch my drift... as in a 3 foot snow drift.., how about a drift the size of the empire state building??? I GOT YOUR POINT:)

Would you consider taking the "Reply-To:" header out of your email to this list?
not a problem.
Gee. Thanks. I was expecting a "take a hike" / "learn how to use your email client" response.
I understand the concept of reply-to and what happens on the list.. I've seen quite a few messages about "DON'T REPLY TO ME AND THE LIST".. -- Paul Cartwright Registered Linux user # 367800
