Greetings, OK I have read the Greek version (Man Page) and the online doc..
But in english what is imap exaclty,, or even better, why would I use it?
Imap leaves the mails on the server, where pop3 pulls the mails to the client. Imap is the first choice if you want to access your mails from different clients, like browserbased webmail, the mailclient in your office and later at home you use yet a third client. Imap mailboxes can also be shared to allow access and workflows for departments for a single mailbox (just think about order@, abuse@, customercare@ etc.). Last but not least you can backup the entire email on the server, not the clients and you have a single point of administration. Sandy -- List replies only please!
