Additionally, I've trying to connect to a DSL connection using PPTP and the only ethernet card showing up here is the physcial ethernet card. David Martin wrote:
I'm experiencing an odd behavior with my wireless connection. The card appears to be setup correctly, when I boot my machine it recognizes that there is a wireless connection. However, I do not get assigned an IP address unless I go into YAST, highlight my wireless connection, press edit and just click through the next couple of steps. When it's done I click finish and bam, I have an IP address asigned and my internet connection is happy. The wireless card is set to connect at boot time, why doesn't it?
Thanks, Dave Martin
