e.g. leafnode.
I have looked at several mirrors, but was not able to find where to get this. I udnerstand a lot of mirrors are not yet up to dat, but due to that it is very confusing, because layouts is different from place to place.
e.g. when I go to ftp.example.com and (most of the time) to pub, I see sometimes opensuse.com and suse.com, sometomes only opensuse.com and sometimes only suse.com
Further up the directory, I sometimes see 10.0/suse where then all the ppc, i368, noarch and so is and sometimes it is devided before.
Or should I just wait?
OK, we are 24 hours on and I am still not able to get a lot of software installed, especially stuff that is not on the CD's, but is on the FTP site.
Simple example. I have added ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/distribution/SL- 10.0- OSS/inst- source/ as an instalation source. It contains the file k3b- arts at ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/distribution/SL- 10.0- OSS/inst- source/suse/i586/k 3b- arts- 0.12.3- 9.i586.rpm
I enter k3b- arts in the search in YaST2 and it can not find it.
I have tried several other sites and different programs first veryfying they are actally on the server. Frustrating, because createrepo is also one of them.
I have added it manually and I have Konquror add the instalation sources. Nothing. Anybody else with the same problem?
Yes i have the same problem, only mine is on the Packman repo and it cannot find some all the kde packages, it lists the i586 ones instead of the x86_64 ones. When i go to the repo directly with ftp it shows they are there. whats up with that. -Cameron
