[... hints about to deal with a dualhead-combo of two nvidia-cards ... ]
Andreas, thanks again for your help. but I think it will be end into a new (or maybe two ?) graphic card(s) - I can't get it running. everytime I've put the second card in the slot, SAX2 lost the cards during detection. I've tried all posible combos fom cards/slots, "sax2 -m 0=[nv and / or nvidia] -m 1=[nv and / or nvidia] and the drivers v7174 - v7676 ( yea, I think I've done about 8 or 10 installs this day :( ). i will give it up here. so I have to buy new cards, with a lot of power that I don't need because this is a working PC, not for gaming. and the trouble getting a PCI-card with a chipset that is still supported by Nvidia in conjuction with a AGP-card (and hopping they will still support that a year of two). or is here someone on the list who is using a matrox-dualhead-cards ? I know them from my work with windows - there they are great cards when to deal with 2 or even more monitors. but how is the support under linux / SUSE ? any help or advice is welcome ! I need a system with two monitors for my work - witch way ever, witch card(s) ever. thanks again to all, regards, JBScout
