Hi Ken. I will ask the question :-) To be honest I doubt it though as he is a newcomer to Linux. It's also not a case that I can pop over and configure it for him... I'm in the U.K. and he's in the U.S. bit too far to go to sort out a network adapter :-)))) I will certainly pass on the idea though. Thank you.

If your friend will keep the same email address why not have them sign up to the list and ask away? If they don't stick with SuSE then they can always quit the list. Might get lucky and have one of us USA'ers nearby to help also... Just a thought.

Good idea, Stan. The trouble is I'm not even sure he is running SuSE. It's the reason I asked my original question in a rather open way :-)))) of whether the hardware worked with 'Linux'. I'm just trying to get as much information for him as I can. Once he's happy using Linux I can tempt him into buying the latest version of SuSE. There is method in my madness though I apologise for asking a wide open question about Linux on a specifially SuSE site. -- Take care. Kevan Farmer 34 Hill Street Cheslyn Hay Staffordshire WS6 7HR
