Thank you Mike,
but it isn't installed at all on my system!
But in the meantime I found some more information on that issue which told me that I don't need it (I simply can ignore the warning of k3b) since SuSE has its resmgr and handles such things with it.
I guess I should have had a look onto the resmgr some time ago, since I had some other problems which can be based on errors inside that configuration (on my system). Well and again I learned something new about my system. Not too bad at last :-)
Thank's again Martin
I guess I have been a bit too early in saying it is solved ... I know that I have to setup the resmgr in order to get my users be able to f.e. write CDs with the burner. I thought it shouldn't be too dificult to do that. But I coudn't figure out how it has to be done yet. Nothing of what I did did change anything yet. So, I was looking through the SuSE documentation (installed on my system and on the net) but (I would say) there isn't much to the resmgr. Could anybody refer me to a documentation so that I can setup the resmgr in a way that it will change ownership permission of f.e. /dev/hdb (my DVD-Burner) to a user when (s)he logs in, please?
