Can anyone recommend either of the following for SuSE 9.2?
Epson CX 3600 or Epson RX 420
The SuSE Hardware database seems poor these days.
Thanks, Steve.
If you buy an Epson printer, I strongly urge that you only use Epson inks, even tho they are prohibitively expensive. I had to throw out an Epson after trying to use "cheap" replacement ink. The heads clogged up, and it was useless. Even tho the HP printers are not as fine-grained as the Epsons, the print heads are in the cartridge, and if anything goes wrong, you just buy a new cartridge. (I don't work for, or own stock in HP.)

And of course you'll find out that HP printers are virtually free, until you go to get an ink cartridge. On my Carly Fiorina special, two sets of ink cartridges buys the printer.
Can I assume that both these machines work with SuSE 9.2 but eventually you have to buy more ink? Thanks, Steve.
