Reasonable question! Thanks for asking
I believe it to be formatted with a FAT fs. It shows up under Fedora
Core 2 and 3 and Winblows. However, SuSE 9.2 with kernel 2.6.9 from
kernel.org and all modules mounted fails. hwinfo sees it. lsusb sees
it. mount /dev/sda1 /media/sda1 (which I created) fails.
I have tried mount -t fstype and the above line - no luck.

Sorry about the length of the lower portion. Any clues?
Simple question, but have you already formatted the jump drive? I know that when I bought my USB thumb drive I had to format it before I could mount the drive. If it's been formatted under Windows or Linux then it's another problem...just thought I would mention this in case your drive as a new one.
