Which, if I understood correctly, was to actually look at these pictures which Kmail renders as separate pictures,rather than allowing indiscriminate html loose on his box. In this case I suspect it's the lesser of two evils he's deciding. For just the one item should he look at the external image, or the html ( not usually a good choice, since you can never be certain your friends windows box wasn't haxsored and your email addy is now in the haxsor's Address book..

Sick with using an external viewer at least that way you deciede if you actually see the images included or just trash them .
