I just brought up the SuSE home page and "SUSE LINUX Professional" is prominently displayed right at the top of the page under "enthusiasts".
Yeah, I just noticed that too.
Now, I like Novell, love the funding they're pouring into their SuSE & Ximian divisions (whoa, how on-message am I?), and how they seem to "get" Free Software all of a sudden (ahem), however, tagging SLP with 'enthusiasts' suggests two possible futures to me:
1) The Fedoraesque community release of SuSE that was being mooted back in October may actually happen (w00t!), in which case, consider me a nominee for GNOME maintainer. 2) It's much easier to drop enthusiasts than enterprise customers, SLP will be dropped as a product line altogether (possibly after one more release) and Novell will focus on NLD, in which case, I'm off to Ubuntu.
