You don't have a queue "lp". To reproduce it try to print with echo hello | lp -d doesnotexist and in /var/log/cups/error_log the matching message is shown. Use lpstat -p to list which queues you actually have. If you have a queue "foobar" then use the print command lp -d foobar -o raw for unfiltered (i.e. "raw") printing when there is a printer driver running in dosemu or use the print command lp -d foobar for filtered printing - e.g. to print plain ASCII text - it needs filtering for correct linefeeds and formfeeds - otherwise you may get plain ASCII text printed like this: first line second line third line and no formfeed at the end (i.e. the sheet is not ejected).
