I assume you are speaking of the Konqueror view settings. If I have to adjust mine, I just overwrite the 'filemanagement' or 'webbrowsing' profile. Next time I start Konqueror, it's just how I had configured it to be.
By "overwrite" I assume you mean changing the view for the current folder and then saving the view profile via the settings, right? I thought that's what I did (and I tried it several times). I wonder why that works for you but not for me? Paul
