What is tcp port 139?
What does the message: "You still have to ALLOW tcp port 139 on internal, dmz and/or external" mean???
This seriously sounds like a troll type message, although it could be legit. So Ted, why not just go to google and do a search for "port 139" or something similar?
This is a message I *have* seen and I believe it comes out of the setup for samba. It would be true under certain circumstances. I ignored it for my internal LAN. But it is a legit message and question.
I'm not trying to be totally rude here, but some of the questions that come up in this list... people can't even search the list archives nor google. I realize that some of the *new* users to linux are overwhelmed with the ton of docs and faqs, but ... it will help you in the long run. Btw, it's not like I'm NOT willing to help people, but at least put in *some* effort. :)
