Hi Jim et al.... Thanks for your help, but the script I have is "stampify.pl" and I can not get it to work in ANY gimp dir. To be honest this is the VERY WORST SuSE that has ever been put out. I've had nothing but problems with it. Any more ideas? Thanks, JIM On Wednesday 18 August 2004 19:12, Jim Sabatke wrote:

Hi Richard et al...
Thanks for the web site. BUT now two questions. #1 Has SuSE took these plugins out of the 5 CD set? I was able to use YAST to install a whole set of plugins.
#2 I d/l'ed the plugin, "now what?" I cannot figure out how to set this up. There is ZERO docs on this.
Thanks,
JIM
RE: #2
It depends on the type of plugin (assuming gimp2, replace things for gimp as required):
*.scm: just put it in your ~/.gimp-2.0/scripts directory *.c: run gimptool2.0 --install
lots of *.c files: run ./configure, then make, then make install You can also install them to the system gimp directories. The above was for your user directories. If you have a single user system, it doesn't matter where they go.
Enjoy!
