Hi,
unfortunately that doesn't work - I get error on modprobe keyword.
modprobe as regular user XYZ> modprobe bash: modprobe: command not found Try modprobe as root :-) # modprobe Usage: modprobe [-v] [-V] [-C config-file] [-n] [-i] [-q] [-o <modname>] <modname> [parameters...] modprobe -r [-n] [-i] [-v] <modulename> ... modprobe -l -t <dirname> [ -a <modulename> ...]
I'd kindly ask for short answers to get me going: - what command should I put into modprobe.conf.local to : - load module1, - after loading module1, load module2 (post-install in previous modules.conf) - before removing module1, remove module2
Thanks,
regards,
Robert.

I'm reading man modprobe.conf and I must be braindead not to see and
kindly
ask for short explanation:
There is alias, install, options and remove commands. But what is
command
to
load plain module without alias ? I've read it but couldn't find any
info
on
how to load module....
Also what are counterparts for post-install and pre-remove from
modules.conf
?
Regards,
Robert.
