That is a mistake, kdegnome2 does not exist. It is kde gnome2.

Make this: ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/apt/SuSE/9.1-i386 update security base And notice the difference. After that add the component(s) you need.

I don't know what you mean by 'basic suse (comparable with you)'. Is your suggestion a objective solution or relative to the 'basic suse' idea? Jerome
