There is your solution to why you can copy is as a Linux user. From what I have heard there is not one line of code in the linux version that is written by Nvidia. BUT, their own drvers are copywrited ( stupid, whose going to steal them?) BUT they must give at least some good info to the folks who do write the Linux drivers... and that means there IS a ticklish bit of might be copywrite or not material in the drivers... weird world business -- j -- nemo me impune lacessit it's just an afterthought; okay ? : Women who seek to be equal to men lack ambition.
