SuSE 9.0.
KDE used to have a button on the panel accessed a list of items in the Documents folder. When I installed 9.0 (fresh install), that button disappeared. I can see how to put a "recent documents" icon on the panel, but I don't see any way to return the old Documents list to the panel.
I know I can put a Konqueror button referencing Documents there, but that is a lot slower - and defaults to showing icons instead of a simple file list.
Does anyone know how to get the Documents icon back?
Can you not just create a directory using konqueror (called "documents" if you like) and then drag it into the panel?
Absolutely. Of course that will cause Konq to load each time I click it - very slow by comparison. It also opens a window of icons instead of the simple file list that we used to have. The change is a giant step backward. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAso6XjeziQOokQnARAsAaAJ9Z//aLvxMq1P7+1k6cE+6El0Uc/QCeIaSy fRWsef1sEdka30PDsK7MdbA= =N+gd -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
